Stop your vehicle in a safe location.

If the vehicle cannot be moved, set up warning devices to alert approaching traffic.

If anyone is injured, call an ambulance immediately (119) and provide first aid if it is safe to do so.

Report the following information to the police (110).

Follow the instructions provided by the police.

Japanese law requires all accidents, even minor ones, to be reported to the police.
